My mother is 63 years old and has Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetes, Shingles, Gout, Edema, and Lung Disease. Over the past 14 months she has injured the bottom of her feet , the first injury occur ed when she stepped on an ice cube that was on the kitchen floor. She didn't slip and she did not fall but the pain that was to come for the next 2 weeks was most excruciating and almost unbearable at times! She could not walk on either foot or bear any weight on them, it was really unbelievable the pain in both feet from so little trauma to the one foot!! About 8 days ago she stepped on a little bitty piece of macaroni on the kitchen floor and has been writhing in pain and unable to walk ever since!! She has been taking Ati van and Tram dole for the pain but its pretty much not doing anything. What Im wondering is if there is any Herbal or natural products to help ease this type of pain??

My mom is a diabetic and has alot of pain in her feet. She has a sit down job, but her feet hurt her all the time. Her doctor has her on a medicine called Neurotin, but she can only take it at night because she gets so sleepy on it. I know that if she had a better diet it would help her. I also tell her to walk on the treadmill thinking that maybe getting some bloodflow to her feet will help her, but she says that makes them hurt worse and she can barely walk from the driveway to her front door. Does anyone know of some natural things, or even other pain killers, or anything that might help her with her feet. I have heard of diabetics having to get their feet cut off and i do not want it to come to that, please help!

This is my first baby at 39 and I am a little scared of what is going on. We see the Dr. tomorrow, but I am still scared. I have only put on 15lb so far and just started walking again. I am 5″1 1/2 and 164.lb. I do eat fairly well, fruits, veggies, and home grown meat. I guess after the 3 hour test my score should have been under 105 and mine was 131. Just want to know what I should be doing and eating to keep my baby boy healthy. I was hoping so much to have a natural delivery and to go full term. Just hoping you gals out there would have some more info. Thanks all
