What are some breakfast ideas when you have gestational diabetes?

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and was recently diagnosed with a touch of gestational diabetes. I am no longer allowed to have more than 15g of carbs for breakfast before 10:00 am.
So I have been reduced to some fruit and a glass of milk or yogurt for breakfast. Prior, I was a milk and cereal, muffins, oatmeal, eggs, bacon, and toast eater for breakfast. Now I am starving again after I’ve been at work for an hour with this reduced carb breakfast.
It’s hard to have the energy I need to keep up at work when I haven’t had a filling breakfast. I start at 8:00 and I don’t get my lunchbreak until 1:00 usually. I can bring a snack to tie me over until lunch, but I still can’t even eat that until after 10.
So do you have any good ideas of foods that will fill me up better but still be within the 15g of carbs guideline?

I need some diabetic recipes for Christmas food?

Christmas is coming and I like to make stuff for my family, you know cookies and things then put them into a pretty basket. It is a nice cheap way of giving them something personal.

This year i have a problem, my step dad just found out that he is diabetic and he is saying he can’t eat anything at all and it is making him miserable. I don’t want to leave him out of what has become a family tradition just because he is diabetic, so what do I do?

Where can I find recipes for cookies and cakes that are diabetic friendly?  I am also a bit worried that the items that I need to buy will be super expensive, so if you can show me some diabetic recipes for items that won’t cost me a fortune that would be great.

For the past two weeks I have been having a constant dry mouth/throat. It goes away when I drink a couple glasses of water then comes back. I just started a 80% raw diet last week..can this have anything to do with it? I eat lots of raw fruits and veggies, legumes and nuts. I don’t eat any processed food and go through 2-3 gallons of water trying to get the dryness to go away but it doesn’t Sometimes it even makes my mouth more dry. Im not diabetic..I was just recently checked
