i recently went to the dr. for a apt. she said that im measuring 4 weeks BIGGER then suppost to be… there scared my baby will be to big to push out and that i will have to have a csection… (i want natural birth)… Also most importantly 3months ago they noticed that my baby only had 2 blood vessels in the umbilical cord instead of 3 which makes the baby not get enough nutrients, oxygen, ect…. the question is is that normal that she is HUGE and 3 months ago they told me she was going to be SMALL?… advice please im scared…

and if you have gone threw this how did your experience go and when did you give birth?…

Is testing Type 2 Diabetics (who are pregnant) for Gestational diabetes the same kind of testing as it would be for a normal woman who is pregnant?

I've Had three kids already and was not diabetic when I was pregnant with them, before or after. And when they did the routine gestational diabetes testing they gave me a high concentration of sugar or better known as glucose.

I have recently been told from my OB physician that he will still need to perform this test to see if I have developed the gestational kind. I wasn't thinking at the time, but today I was watching a video that reminded me of what they do for this testing and I am now concerned about having to drink this high sugary drink. Does anyone know if the procedure is different for someone like myself?

I found out I was Diabetic this last January and the cause could be a result from my PCOS that I was recently diagnosed with as well. I take medication for the combination and monitor my Diabetes 4 times a day. I also monitor my Ketones.

I do also see an Endocrinologist.

I have looked around & though I have found some of my symptoms I have some which have thrown me off:
My grandmother & my other grandfather both had diabetes. My mom had diabetes when she was pregnant with me
I am overweight & 17
I get sick if I don’t eat on time. Dizziness/headaches start to kick in about half an hour or so after I miss my meal & get increasingly worse as time goes on
Always have headaches (I am not sure if this is relevant but it doesn’t hurt to include all the facts)
Exercise schedule varies
Tend to be dehydrated, but I get thirsty a lot
Tend to have to go to the bathroom a lot
Tend to eat unhealthily
I have had moments where I’ll be looking at something in & everything will turn to black and white & I will feel my self swaying back and forth. My head will pound & I feel chills
I have slow healing cut/scratches
I’ve recently found out that chocolate and natural sugars help to dull/numb the pain and even make it go away.
What should I do?

Thank you.
