Where can I find detailed hospital meal plans for diabetics?

Much good luck on that one!! Most hospitals, dieticians and nutritionists follow the USDA food pyramid for meal planning. They do not take into consideration that each of us is individual and cannot eat all the foods recommended for diabetics.

I suggest that you consult an Endocrinologist and Certified Diabetes Educator in your area.

I have on record, that the doctor that admits me to hospital ask my daughter what foods to include on my plate and that I be allowed to administer all my own maintainance meds from my personal supply.

I cannot eat most of the carby foods on the list of “good for diabetics” foods! I would much rather see people watch the grams of carbohydrate per plate than a set number of calories.
